SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR JOB SUMMARY
Counsels and aids individuals and families requiring assistance with substance abuse problems, such as alcohol and drug dependencies, by performing the essential duties. By reason of proficiency and aptitude, has been assigned additional duties to aid in the day-to-day operations of the clinical program and given the opportunity to expand personal/professional supervisory skills. Substance abuse counselors must have a responsibility and a dedication to the overall harmonious functioning of Buffalo Valley, Inc. at our Hohenwald, TN location for our Male population.
